2014 NIGHT OF THE RACES
Tired of winter? Dreaming about a summer day, sports, and straw hats? TCRE has the cure for your mid-winter blahs. Join us Saturday, March 1 at The Celtic Junction in St. Paul for our annual Night of the Races fundraiser. Your $25 advance ticket ($30 at the door) gets you into an evening that will restore your spirits with a little summer fun. Our annual Galway Races-inspired event gives you the opportunity to feel like a high roller at the track without breaking the bank:
Bid on pre-recorded horse races with funny money.
Double your potential winnings by becoming a horse owner.
Dress up in your race day best (large, feathered hats encouraged).
Enjoy a spaghetti dinner catered by Fat Lorenzo's.
Get in the spirit with live Irish traditional music performed by the Center for Irish Music's Open Sky Ensemble.
Bid in our silent auction.
Use your funny money winnings at the end of the night to bid on real prizes in our live auction.
Bring a 6-pack of beer, a bottle of wine, or other "adult" beverage to contribute to our Wall of Wine raffle. If you win, you take home the lot!
. . . and much more.
All proceed from the Night of the Races support TCRE programs and events. Get your tickets now!
