We are always ready to welcome new players!
Whether you've never picked up a hurley before or you're an Irish expat looking for a taste of home, TCRE welcomes you! Becoming a member is the best way to learn the sport of hurling, make new friends, get in great shape, and experience a new side of the Twin Cities Irish-American cultural scene all in one!
All levels of TCRE membership include the following benefits:
Unlimited participation in Adult League training sessions and City League
matches during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.*
A City League Jersey.
Participation in community events, including St. Patrick's Day parades
and the Minnesota Irish Fair.
Participation in club events throughout the year, including the annual
Draft Party, end-of-season party, and a variety of other special events
and social gatherings.
*Please note: Players in the Adult League must be 15 years of age or older. Youth under the age of 18 are required to provide signed consent from a parent or legal guardian before play is allowed.
Which Membership Level is Right for You?
NEW Member: New to hurling or new to TCRE? New members with our club are eligible to attend up to 5 FREE TRAINING SESSIONS. Once you've decided that TCRE is right for you, you can sign up for a discounted New Member membership that includes all the benefits of being a TCRE member, plus a FREE HURLEY (hurling stick) to help you get started. Note: New Player membership rate does not apply to any player who has previously been a member of TCRE.
RETURNING MEMBER: You already know that you love hurling and are coming back for more! Anyone who has been a member player with TCRE in any prior year and is not qualified as a Student should register as a Returning Player.
HOUSEHOLD: Hurling isn't just in your blood. . . it's in your family! Household membership applies to up to 2 adult players plus their children (ages 15-18) living in the same household.
STUDENT: You're still in school and could use a bit of a break. We get it; we've all been there. If you're currently enrolled in high school or an undergraduate program, feel free to take advantage of a special membership rate for students.
YOUNG EMMETS: Children ages 6 - 14 can try their hand at hurling with TCRE's FREE Young Emmets program. The Young Emmets typically run through the fall season (September - October). Please check our Young Emmets page as we near the season for more information. You can also e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in having a TCRE player host a free hurling workshop for your child's school or recreational program.

STEP 1) Select your membership level below and click the button to complete your order.
STEP 2) When you have finished completing your TCRE membership, CLICK HERE and select "Heartland Division" to register with the USGAA. USGAA registration is required annually for all playing members and includes eligibility for USGAA-sanctioned tournaments as well as access to supplemental player insurance. NOTE: Registration for all returning members is due by April 30, 2019. Returning members who fail to register by the deadline will be disqualified from tournament play, including the USGAA Finals.
