WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MEMBER
Anyone can try hurling or camogie with the Twin Cities Robert Emmets for free, but only members have full access to all club activities. With a TCRE membership, you receive:

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
Whether you’re a new or seasoned member ready to commit for the full season or just want to try out our fall or winter league, there’s a membership option that’s right for you.
In addition to a TCRE club membership, all members must be registered with the USGAA. Like your TCRE membership, USGAA registration is renewed annually. You will find information on USGAA registration below.
NEW MEMBER - $50
First-time TCRE members are eligible to sign up for a discounted membership rate during their first season. New members get all the same benefits of a regular returning TCRE membership.
RETURNING MEMBER (SUMMER/FALL) - $150
This membership level is for any individual player who has previously been a TCRE member and includes Summer and Fall City Leagues. Returning members are also eligible for travel team play throughout the year.
HOUSEHOLD - $260
Hurling isn't just in your blood. . . it's in your family! This membership level applies for up to 2 adult players (ages 19 or older) plus eligible children ages 15-18 living in the same household. Household membership allows for all covered members to play in Summer and Fall City Leagues and includes eligibility for travel team play.
FALL LEAGUE ONLY - $75
Fall is is a great time to try hurling for the first time! Players who are only interested in playing in our Fall League (mid-September through late October) can sign up for this reduced-rate membership and enjoy a relaxed, late-season atmosphere.
WINTER LEAGUE - $115
All players interested in shaking off the offseason cobwebs in our Willie Fahy Memorial Winter League (January - early March) must sign up for this special winter-only membership, which takes place in a heated, guaranteed snow-free indoor sports dome.
YOUNG EMMETS - FREE
Children ages 6 - 14 can try their hand at hurling with our free Young Emmets program. The Young Emmets typically meet in late summer/early fall dependent on field availability. Please check our Young Emmets page as we near the season for more information.
Are you currently registered with or transferring from a hurling or camogie club in Ireland or outside the USGAA? You may be required to complete additional paperwork to be eligible to play with TCRE. Contact us for information on player transfers and sanctions.
JOINING US FROM IRELAND?
USGAA REGISTRATION
In addition to your TCRE membership, anyone who wishes to train or play with TCRE must register with the US Gaelic Athletic Association (USGAA), the governing body for Gaelic sports in the United States (except New York). USGAA membership must be renewed annually and provides a number of benefits, including eligibility to play in USGAA-sanctioned tournaments and individual supplemental insurance.
2023 USGAA registration fees are $42 per person for camogie and $63 for hurling. All players are encouraged to complete their registration as early as possible in the calendar year to ensure full coverage and participation for the entire season.
Recommended for all players prior to completing registration to avoid errors.
